During her years practicing in Washington, DC, she had a private practice for over 15 years, and also was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown University Hospital. She has published in the American Journal of Psychiatry and has done numerous presentations in academic and community settings.
She is often consulted for second opinions on complex cases, particularly involving Mood Disorders and Eating Disorders, and has earned peer-recognized distinctions as a top psychiatrist.
